Travelling first time with PR card

I am a landed immigrant currently living outside of Canada (received PR in 2022). I'm travelling to Canada for the first time with my PR card. What are the formalities at immigration when travelling with a PR card?

Not much of difference. At the land border, you show your PR card instead of your passport.

Usually the immigration and the airlines at the departing country and the connecting airports also check the visa for the destination country. The one-time Canada visa at the time of PPR is now cancelled. So, can I show the PR card at both the departing and connecting airports also?

Yes u will be asked for PR card at check in and also immigration
