My question is "Do we have any problem in travelling from Chennai-India through Frankfurt-Germany through Qatar airways and then from Frankfurt to Toronto through Air Canada, is there any visa required for that, we have our Canadian PR other than that we don't have anyother visa..."
I am from Pakistan living in Saudi Arabia, last year travelled from Riyadh to Orlando, USA via Frankfurt, no visa is required as its just a connecting flight, you won't be going out side airport. Hope this helps.

If any one's flight to Canada lands in any airport in Europe and UK for onward connection to their destination, there is no need of a transit visa. Their passport with Canadian visa is enough. But if the flight lands in any airport in USA, there is a need of US transit visa (C1). In your case one stop is Frankfurt for change of airline. At Frankfurt airport, you need to the transit area. You need to keep your passport and boarding pass handy for verification, while entering the transit terminal. That is all.
