A PR can travel abroad after landing . For return he/she can request for a travel document from a Canadian Mission abroad:

You mean I can't get a travel document in Canada but I can get one abroad meaning to any other country. Why? I think it's much safer to get a travel document first before you get out of Canada.

Just want to clarify things and thank you very much to all who will reply.

there is no other option,go outside canada and then take your proof of landing and other documents to that particular high commision and get a travel document,as per me no other option,but this is also easy

ah dont know but i think it's dangerous...really do hope you can get it before you travel outside canada withiut a PRC
