I applied to renew my expired PRC on 5/10/2009 and left Canada on 31/12/2009 , without receiving my new one which is under processing now .. I had already 8 days less than 730 when applied .. but I stayed 90 days after applying !!! My concern is how can I get back again by a travel document to attend an interview that may required by the local office and how to collect my new PRC if issued ... I don't know what are my chances to get the travel document ... Any help from expert here ???

1. If you are a citizen of a country that requires a visitor visa to enter Canada, then you are going to require a travel document as you have to pickup you PR card in person.
2. You shouldn't have too much problem getting a travel document as long as you can prove that you were residing in Canada for 2 years in the 5 years on the date you apply for the TD.
