Hi, I am an Indian citizen. I am planning to travel on a visitor visa from Mumbai, India to Ottawa, Canada and then back to Mumbai.
While travelling I will have to take connecting flight from London, Munich, or Newark, etc. I won't be leaving airport,
it would be just a transit stop for a few hours. Do I need a Transit Visa while either going to Canada or coming back to India?

How do I confirm that I am eligible for TWOV (Transit without Visa)status? and is there a document or a stamp that I need to acquire?
Or the airport authority is assured that I don't intend to leave the airport during the transit stop by just looking at my ticket and visitor visa?
