if ur going directly from frankfurt to canada then u dont need a transit visa however if ur taking a connecting flight from frankfurt to any schengen countries then u may need a visa.

If your flight ticket is confirmed then you do not need one. I repeat if your flight ticket from frankfort to Montreal is confirmed then u won't need it ...

My agency told me that you can stay in Frankfort without transit visa for maximum 8 hours.. So book the flight having connection time less than 8 hours in Frankfort..

You can stay but in the Airport. Transit visa make you able to Visit out which apparently you won't need.

You won't be needing a transit visa unless you're planning on going outside the airport.
