Transfer from BC(British Columbia) to AB( Alberta)

The first thing i want to ask is that is getting transfer from BC to AB a good decision or not?
And
Currently i am studying in UFV university of the fraser valley in computer information systems diploma and i am thinking of moving to AB to SAIT college but i am not getting the exact same course their and i also want credit transfer can you guy help me if with few questions:
1- is credit transfer still possible even if you dont get the exact same course as i am getting IT diploma and i have CIS diploma in UFV.
2- can i face any problem with PGWP or future process.
