I am sure some of you seniors will have the answer to my question.
Does an applicant under PNP who is working in Canada with a Post Grad work permit need to show proof of fund in the application to CIC? Proof of fund is one of the requirements, but I am just wondering why someone who has a white collar job in Canada still have to be subject to this requirement.

This is one of the requirement and you need to follow the process...............It does not matter whether the applicant has a white collar job or doing a field work.
I submitted my passport on July 5th and CPPO received it July 8th. Canada Post tracker got activated July 16th and I received my passport back today July 17th.

Thanks. It is just that I know over 5 pple who did it recently without submitting the proof of fund and scale through. Anyway it is always better to follow the rules to the letter

To get the nomination from the province proof of funds is required.
When you submit the PR application, there is a form you have to complete to indicate how much funds you have. They don't ask for proof. If you are working you should include a job letter to indicate how much money you make. In the 'how much funds' you should include the funds you are expected to make within the next 12 months (as evidenced by you job letter) adding to that savings or other funds you have in the bank. But you don't have to include bank statements as you had to do when appying for the nomination for PR.
I just checked the date of issue on my Visa and its the same date when they requested my PP. So i think they print the visa beforee making the request and then why they receive the PP they just affixed it on it.
