U r lucky enough that u r applying from canada so u got mr lightening fast but we have to wait a lot even for an aor fron visa office and then mr
Becoz the guyz whos aor from cio came last month 14/1/13 have not received aor from newdelhi so it will take a long time for the guys like us

Yea, looking at the tracking sheet, I noticed that time to mr is a little slower outside of canada.
Most people I know who have gone through the process before myself mentioned that it took 3 months before they got mr, so cic may have reduced the processing time here.

I understand from various forums on this site that the processing from NDVO is fastest considering the fact that they send out MR+PPR in one single email whereas in outside canada cases they receive MR first and then PPR after few months time. Generally, the AOR from NDVO comes within two/ two and a half months after the AOR from CIO is received, and the MR+PPR follows within few weeks from then.
So i think NDVO applicants dont need to be worried as the generally the timeline for end to end processing (Application to CIO till getting your PP stamped) comes to around 6 to 7 months.
