Thanks for the input. When is your PGWP expiring? Mine is expiring on august 7th. The only option I have to keep working is apply for work permit extension which will borrow me sometime to wait for sinp without stop working or leaving canada. what are you planning to do next? I know we cant do anything other than wait but in case your pgwp is expiring soon?
hello everyone"
My employer applied for my Job Approval Confirmation to SINP last -June 24,2013
Job Approval Confirmation received July 12,2013
Applied SINP- July 15, 2013
Additional requirements ( Code of Conduct ) sent- August 16.2013
Received Confirmation of SINP Application- August 19,2013
........Waiting for the assessment letter and Approval hoping and praying that it wont take long.
Looks like SINP folks are speeding the process of the approval. They requested some missing documents from me today and according to them the approval should come in "VERY SOON" so keeping the fingers crossed. I will update when i receive the nomination.

I recently got my SINP nomination certificate (Post-Graduate category) and here are my timeline so far.
1. Job Approval request submitted - January 2013 and I got the approval - March 2013 (2 months and some days). I have not come across a
processing time for the job approval but I feel people get their Job Approval faster if their employer keep checking in with SINP
2. Submitted SINP application - March 18, 2013 and received my File number - March 22, 2013.
3. Nominated - August 30, 2013 (No additional documentation was requested)

I applied by paper and I just received my SINP yesterday. I think once they ask you for additional documents then it means you get your nomination very soon(kind of an indication but may not be true in all cases), here are my timelines:
1. May 24, 2013 Submitted SINP application.
2. May 30, 2013 File Number received.
3. September 16, 2013 - Requested additional documents/Submitted same day
4. September 18, 2013 -Nominated
They asked for code of conduct(which you just need to sign)
and ROE(record of employment) from past employer(the employer sends it service canada office when you terminate employment or gives it to you. so if someone didnt receieve it they can get it from service canada office). Service canada folks just 2 minutes to get that.
