Just so people aware, do not panic if you could not link your PR card application to MyCIC. I never could. Even today I tried and I could not. But, I got my PR card today via Canada post with 3 more days to go for 61 days! I landed on August 29th and got my PR card on October 26th.
So, relax and wait till 8 to 10 weeks. Good luck to all!
We (self, spouse and our son) did our first landing the last week and became the permanent residents of Canada. Today I was trying to link our PR card application to my CIC account but could not do it and the error message I got was: information you entered does not match our records.
So, my question is: after how many days should I try to link our PR card application to my CIC account? Is it too early to make this attempt as we became PR the last week only?
I read somewhere that you can update or change the delivery address online so i suppose that you can view the delivery address if thats the case,my status shows as submitted,what are the normal pr card statuses?
I am revising my answer regarding this. I was able to link my application to account today despite what the agent told me via email. It seems it is important to type the place of birth exactly as in the passport (caps, spaces and all).
I am trying to link my application by giving the UCI Number and Family name but what do I fill in the CELPIP Test ID as. Is it the same as Registration Number on my CELPIP Certificate?

I am unable to link my application to my Cic account too. Tried all possible options. I landed here 2 days ago in Toronto. Could you please let me know if I should wait for a few more days n then link the application for PR card to the account? I'm an express entry FCWA immigrant.
And did you get the PR card without any emails from them to send your photos to Cic?

Two days is a bit short to be able to link. I was told that it would take sometime to move from paper to online. Check after couple of weeks. It could take a month too. Did you give your photos when you landed? If so, there may not be any communication from them until you get your PR card. If not, they will reach out asking for your photos. Sometimes they will reach out if the photos sent by you does not suit their requirement! They took photos from me while landing and never heard a word from them until I got my PR card. I hope this helps.
Thank you. No. They didn't ask for any photos from me after I landed. They took my CoPR (Cic copy) with my photo on it n said they will send the PR card to my postal address here in 2 months. Maybe I should wait to hear from them about the photograph request email
