Does anyone know how long does it take to receive the PR card by CanadaPost once its approved and mailed from CIC ?

Depends on your location (if you live in the city or suburbs) but usually couple business days. If it’s mailed Friday - most likely Tuesday delivery. If mailed Monday - give or take Tuesday/Wednesday, but usually no more than a week

My application is still showing as submitted.

My partner was approved and received their card in late September.
Our child has been approved but we have not received their card yet.

I'm wondering if maybe the delay has to do with a transfer of sponsorship.
When we arrived in Canada, we were all sponsored under my partner's student visa.

For PR we were sponsored under me, and maybe there's an extra check that happens when a minor
changes who they are sponsored by.

I had 2 updates between PR application submission and COPR, yet for the card I have had 3 so far.

Did you get your CoPR documents and other instructions the same day, your PR application got approved? If not, after how many days did you get additional instructions after getting CoPR?

Did you get instructions for PR card? I just have the CoPR number on CIC account. That's it! No other instructions or no documents yet. My CoPR update came on Oct 14th.

I am just confused and frusstaed regarding what order does sydney office is following to print cards. I know people whose photo had been sent to Sydney earlier than this applicant but why this person get card earlier than those who sent photos earlier?

There is no order, just like there was no order with COPR. It just is how it is. My partner got their card three weeks ago.

I'm still waiting. Patiently. Not getting mad. Breathing deeply. Understanding that the process isn't perfect, but at least I still have delicious maple syrup and poutine to enjoy. Being chill like people are here, in glorious Canada.
