My application got approved today and it says the PR card will be mailed within 6 weeks. I got ghost update 2 days back. Landed on 1st March, inland CEC

Randomly logged in earlier today. Pr card application said Profile/application updated. Didn't see any update and didn't get an email..it's now back to submitted

Ghost update means that your application is approved. Check your GCKEY account again, or else call the ircc contact center to check the status of application.

I received a call from CIC and they verified few details on my application and asked me if all the applicants are in Canada and them he said your application is not approved and you would get a copy of it via email?

And the same time I saw a Ghost update on my profile.

Any idea of how this works? Is this a new process?

This is the current process for inland applicant. Is it approved or not approved.

why would he call you to tell you you're not approved?

Is that protocol? Seems strange.

Ditto! I got ghost update 2d ago well. Today it says card approved and mailed!! Will update once I get it. Landed March 3rd. No email notification today or 2d ago. Fingers crossed for everyone else waiting

Where do you see the update saying "we mailed your pr card" ? My PR card application is in approved status and don't see any message.

Landed Feb 12
Card approved and mailed March 13

Card confirmed mailed to wrong address and solemn declaration send May 13
Approved new card: July 08

I'm just curious, so far it seems they haven't gotten to outlanders.

I applied from inland but went to border to flagpole vs an in office landing...i don't know that they consider inland vs outland with us that landed pre-lockdowns
