Hi,

I landed on Nov 19 and haven't received any updates on card processing. Only one ghost update within 1st week of landing. On the other hand my spouse got his PR card within two weeks of landing. I am the primary applicant still no updates at all.

When I landed that weeks processing time was 26 days still no movement on the card approval.

Should I submit web form or call CIC?

My card was approved and shipped on December 9th. Any idea how long it takes to be delivered to Vancouver??

have you received your PR card ? recent threads tracking of those fast cases take between 3 and 6 days, ... or slower case takes couple of weeks happens ...

Guys i have a very naive question, but is the PR card laminated, as is it safe to keep the card in a rfid block sleeve and not risk the print coming out like what happens with the bank cards

Yes fully laminated.

I guess so, I just keep it in my wallet. It's pretty good quality made in the end. You can always get your card renewed in case of being damaged or stolen.

Great its just that i want to keep it at home and not carry it around everywhere
