Your question was "did i have a previous canada visa" the viable answer to that question is in past tense, you know if you dinn get it.

Just so you get the right info, once you land as PR all other visas are cancelled. You can’t enter as a visitor nor work permit holder because you’re a PR, the only document that’d allow you to enter without a PR card is the PRTD

On papers yes.. and trust me i was all in for this.. but due to some circumstances i had to travel,

Now its ur luck, suppose during landing if cbsa puts seal on all ur old visas yes they are cancelled but if not they are not.

Search on this forum many people have used old valid visas which were not physically cancelled used it. I took risk and used and it works.

But i don suggest to do it until its emergency and u have no other way.

I took risk worked out and even cbsa officers accept, bec if u r resident by law they have to admit u in.

This is not the case with etas though

Timeline please, did you have to resubmit the photos? This is a pain in the *** for resubmitting photos, my photos looked great and don't know how they could rejected, LOL

Landed Aug 28th. Request for new photos Jan 14, 2019. Had to get an MP involved to get an answer, and that answer was photo rejection. It will probably take 7 months in total IF the photos are not rejected for a second time. Insane.

Please can you copy here the status of your linked application in your GC key account? I am actually relying on the IVR to check my status as there is no way i can link my application. Want to know what it reads when application is approved.
