First of all, the cards are produced in Nova Scotia and once approved they dispatch it via Canada post standard service. It usually takes 4 business days to deliver out of province mails.

Hi, I landed on Oct 11 and was able to link the application on the following day. On this thread, I have seen several people mention Ghost update and the status again changing to submitted. Can you let me know - what exactly changes in "Ghost Update"? Is it like an email/status change/message in CIC account? I am trying to find out how to identify if Ghost update has taken place for my PR card application.

Hey, I have the same date of landing. I called IRCC on monday and they told me that wait till first week of december. I hope I get it soon as I have my visit planned

Looking at the timelines, I think you will not get the card before 15-Dec.
But some people turn out to be lucky. So all the best.

Able to link application, It shows Date Submitted : 28-Nov-2018 and Status: Submitted .
What does this means ? Landed Toronto on 21-Sep-2018.

Date Submitted does not matter. Your Card processing started on 21-Sept-2018 when you landed. But you are linking quiet late. Possibly your card may even have been dispatched. Best to call CIC.

How can he be sure... But that is what it has been taking for most of the people.

Frankly no one can sure when it comes to CIC. It is unfortunately not so transparent. All talks is just statistics and observations of people.

Called cic today and they told me card for me and my wife dispatched yesterday. my wife went on a job training in states for 10 days. i hope i get it in 4 days so that i am able to send it via overnight mail.
