I called cic yesterday and they told me that my application has been sent for production , anyone has an idea as how much time does it take to receive pr card after going for production?

Anyone has an idea how long does the 'in production' stage takes? My application went to production on 14th and still stuck there.

We are all in the same situation. I wish CIC was transparent with the application process.

Landed: 9/28, Toronto Pearson Airport
Linked: 10/13
Ghost update: 11/21 (portal showed profile/application updated but went back to "submitted" after refreshing)

Landed: September 28 @ Toronto Pearson Airport

Didn't know I could link application to account until I saw a post here on October 13.
Still waiting for update. I hope I can receive the card before Christmas, as I'll be traveling abroad for vacation.

What do you mean? Did you call CIC? From where did you find out that your card has already been issued?

i dropped a mail.. directly to minister of IRCC...

Ha ha. Just send them new clicked photos according to specifications. That's the only thing you can do right now. Hope they process the card soon.

but why would minister office say they are issued

I don't know if there was a ghost update as I didn't have access to the account, my advisor did. And yes it was an update in the CIC account which said I needed to re-submit 2 photos (advisor forwarded me all communications).

Congratulations... Is 2 weeks the new norm after the ghost update? It used to be just a few days before.

Yes according to all the recent posts, it takes 12 to 15 days to be approved after the ghost update
After that new stress begins the post's one ...especially with the strike ...
