Hello Everyone!
I am not sure if this has already been answered in this forum yet, can anyone please tell me if it is possible to call ircc from outside canada to check the status of your pr card request.

Also, although I received a photo request for me (nothing for my spouse yet) there is nothing updated in the application status when i check using my gckey...is this something which happens often?

I re-submitted my photos which was received on May 7, 2018. Did anyone call recently to ask them what date are they processing now for re-submitted photos?

My family and I landed March 24. My PR card was approved May 10th and received in mail shortly after. Got a request for new photos for my son about a week after that. My spouse’s application showed updated on May 25th before going back to Submitted and changing back to updated today. When I clicked for more information, it said it was approved! So hopefully it’ll be in the mail soon.

I got an updated on last Friday as I landed on April 12. I got no photo request so is that safe? Did you got an update with a photo request for the first time? Or the photo request came after the update?

Same timeline, landed April 12 and status changed to updated and submitted again on last Friday. I hope its a good news and will receive my card soon.

Hi folks,

I got a photo resubmission request for my son and daughter back to March 28th.

I sent the photos and they were recieved on April 12th.

The application for my kids was approved on May 18th.

We are currently living in Vancouver. The problem is that the cards are not delivered yet to our address.

Do you think there is anything I should worry about? Is there anyone in the same boat like me?

I feel it is important to mention that, both, my and my wife’s cards were delivered to the same address back in march. So, the address that the CIC has is correct.

May 22nd CIC website approved for main applicant and spouse.
May 25th main applicant PR card arrived.
May 28th spouse PR card arrived.
