Linking the card does take a while I guess. I landed on Feb 23, but was only able to link it on March 18

I think most of them are who took theiŕ photos from outside of canada . It is very rare to redo photo for inland applicants.

Mostly because they arrive in Canada more than 6 months after CoPR. They want latest photos (less than 6 months old).
Or
If the photos are 'bad' as per IRCC specs.

No, I didnt have to provide any new pictures. They were happy with the one I had on my COPR.

Hello folks, I am curious that do you check your application status via myCIC or ecas? In my case,

I landed in YVR airport March 11, was able to link to myCIC.
Status in myCIC: submitted
Status in ecas: there is nothing about my PR card application. only the PR application which was completed, and landed.

I am wondering when do you guys see it appear in ecas?

I check mine on my CIC account. Ecas shows nothing. Landed on Feb 27th.
