I have a question.
When I landed on the Niagara border all the officer did was to sign the COPR letter I brought with me and gave it back to me.
He said I have to save it as I need it to renew my PR and to get my new SIN.
I thought I was supposed to get a document on the same type of paper as a work permit, for example.
Does anybody know about this?

COPR is the only document that we will get it from Immigration officers. You can use that for any further communications. For obtaining permanent SIN, just visit Service Canada with your passport and COPR.
Landed March 20, 2017 Etobicoke, still waiting
If you are coming from the overseas, Is the first airport you land becomes the place you do the "landing"? e.g. If I am flying out of Europe, and first stop is Toronto, where I would have my layover for Vancouver flight. So, do they process my paperwork in Toronto or in Vancouver?
