Sorry, I am not sure, because I did not check my status yesterday.

You won't be able to link unless you have your pr card application no starting with R. I was not able to link mine and my family members but once iiIgot to know application no. For my husband I was able to link it.

You don't need PR card application number which starts with R. Just your UCI, DoB, Place of birth, full name, landing date, just write everything correctly. I linked all our initial PR card applications without PR card application numbers.

I checked my account again and the status was updated. Clicked it to see the messages and status shows as approved and I can see my PR card# and expiry date.
Now waiting for them to mail and receive it. I am in YVR so will probably take a while for mail to arrive.

Just entered in my CIC account and I read 'Application/profile updated'. I guess it's a ghost message (did not receive anything by email).
Landed = Oct 16 2018
CIC asking photos = Dec 07 2018
Photos received by CIC = Dec 13 2018

what do you mean you are wrong? I wasn't eluding to photo receipt date, but instead from the time we became PR. I know how it works and was just venting out because of the extended waiting time beyond gaining residency to get a PR.

Hello all,
I am not sure if it is a ghost update. The current status for PR card changed from "submitted" to "Application/profile updated", but nothing changed for my status. After viewing the application status, the current status changed back to "submitted".
Landed: Dec 21, 2018.

That's a ghost update.

I hear you. complaining wont solve the situation but just writing a post helps offload that frustration. hehhe. anyways, waited for so long ..a few more days dont see much
