I moved to a new place and if only i was informed that changing address will affect the processing times i should have not update yet my address since i just moved few blocks away from my previous address and the owner of the unit a friend of mine. I am currently outside Canada now and i dont know the update of my initial PR. It has been 60 days since my landing.
As of my understanding, it usually takes 2-14 days to get it approved. I received the ghost update for my partner's card (I am a principle) this morning as well. Hope we get them approved soon.

I have my application linked onto CIC portal but the photo request for PR card was received through email only, submitted same in December end. now wondering where do I supposed to get this ghost update email or CIC portal?

What's your landing date? When you log into CIC portal you will see application/profile updated and it goes back to submitted once refresh the page. This is how you see for ghost update

My landing date was 31st October, I linked my PR ard application on CIC on 2nd December and it shows submitted status from that date only, there is no change/update there after 2nd of december. As I mentioned, even the photo request came directly to the email and there was no clarification sought in CIC portal.
apparently they are processing late October photo re-submissions based on information from a day before, my photos reached them 31Oct, yet to hear anything
