Hi there,
Does anyone not landed at Ontario approved last week already get PR Card? I landed at Emerson, Manitoba, approved last Wednesday, however still not received my card. Not sure because of the holiday high volumes of mails or they loss it....

Dec 3 Photo Request for all 4 members of my family
Dec 17 received mailed letters of photo request for all 4
Dec 18 photos will go.

Hii... could you please tell me, whether any of your dependents is a minor? Coz my kid did't receive photo request by email even though I and my wife received.

I heard that the CIC does not send photo request e-mails and send only snail/postal mails to minors. Could anyone confirm whether is it true? Coz I and my wife got photo requests and my kid did not. That's why I am worrying.

Received card today (20th Dec)

As far as i know, the processing time will be started from today. That means you have to wait 54 more days to get your PR Card.

Question: at the time of landing, did not you give them 2 passport size pictures for each applicant?

At the time of Landing, Photos are not asked. I checked with immigration officials as well. They use the photos which are sent when passports are sent to CIC.

Me and my wife got photo request but our daughters did not get any email. But response to web form query confirmed that even minors need to provide new photos. So, I would suggest to send new photos for all the applicants.

Waiting : Daughter PR card approval & Postal delivery

I received an email yesterday, no mail and no update in my cic

Click on the PR card application's 'view submitted application' tab. Once there, you'll se on the top the application date which will be the date you actually landed. So it should be Jan 15 in your case.

I checked online status says Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made now what i expect???

Its been a very long journey during the PR process but was all worth it!

By the people... don think approva date is date of ur card print.. chrck start date of card and thats ur print date.. hehehe...approved is batch which runs twice a day and updates posted cards

Any idea what times of the day the batch is run?

Landed - 9 oct
Approved 1 - 8th dec ( Not received)
Approved 2 - 12th dec (received 17th dec)
Approved 3 - 19th dec (received 21st dec)

I have not received 1st card. What might be the problem? Do i need to wait?
