Hello Everyone,

I called CIC on May 14 (3 weeks ago) to know about the PR card status for my son, for whom they asked new photos. The photos were received on May 07. As of May 14, they were processing photos received till April 10 (so its around a month of backlog).

Did anyone else get to know any recent update? Thanks.

That's some old news my man, they are processing photos that received on at least May1-2 atm.

Anyone who landed on April 19.. got any update?

I have noticed that generally one received photo request after 40-45 days of landing.

Landed April 19th....status changed to “Updated”. Not sure when it happened as I checked my online account after few days.

Landed on Apr 7th, changed to updated last Monday and approved today. Will update after I receive the card.

1. Landed: April 7th 2018
2. Gave officer new picture to be used for the PR Card (I didn't like the previous picture I had sent)
3. Officer Agreed, removed old picture, pasted new picture and updated case notes about this to avoid any issues later
4. Back to US: April 10th 2018
5. Unable to link Application to my cic account (tried 100+ times)
6. Received Card: June 1st 2018

Hi,

I sent my daughter’s new photos on May 2..her application was updated on May 22 (I am guessing that is when they sent it for printing ) when I clicked on it , it went back to submitted. It was then updated as Approved on May 28, I am expecting it today or tomorrow since I live in Toronto. You should be getting some type of update soon based on the trends in this forum.

Nice... mine still has no updated and shows as "submitted". Hoping that there should be some update soon.

I wish I did that. Even I didn't like the pic I had on my CoPR. All my cards have ugly pics.

I landed on April 17 in Toronto, got updated some time last week and approved today. The status says that the card expires 2023/05/30.
