I'm trying to find out how long it takes to get that. I'm from Iran and I have to apply through Ankara but they are not helpful. I resent my new pictures for pr card 2 weeks ago so I am not sure if I wait for my pr card or apply for travel document.

after 73 days ,and calling cic every 2 weeks, now they said " we sent u email and mail regarding photo"i told them i rcvd nothing, then they said ,here we r telling u to send photos!! no comment

just spoke to cic helpcenter wrt my pr card status

Lady on phone was very courteous and provided a lot of info.
She told me that they mailed my card on 29th march and i should receive it in 2 weeks

I've reached IRCC successfully via 1 (613) 944-4000 (which is the main number for Global Affairs/Affaires globales Canada).

Same for me. Really Pissed off. I sent the correct photo when I got my PR. Still they asked me again. Why. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

So where does CIC get the photo from? Is it from the CIC COPR copy that the immigration officer keeps as part of first landing?

The reason I'm asking this question is that the original soft copy photos that I submitted with my PR application were of course based on the old dimensions. I submitted new photos as part of PPR and visa stamping based on the latest dimensions. Just curious at what stage CIC use the photos for the PR Card.

On Apr 1st, I recd my child's PR Card. Feeling complete now. It is almost a month after sending the new photos.

I sent the pictures on March 2nd and CIC received on March 7th. April 1st received the PR card. Approximately, 30 days from sent pictures and received PR card.
