I want to apply for Tourist visa for me aged 41,my wife 38 and my kid 6 for travel purposes.

I want to know to whether we will be eligible for tourist visa and what are the chances that we will get a visa?

If we get and then what duration will it be for? I am from India?

You can certainly apply - however no one here can tell you what your chances are of being approved. Whether you are approved or not will depend on what evidence you can provide that shows you have strong ties to your home country and no plans to remain in Canada long term.

Doesn’t matter. If you have visa, you are eligible to travel as long as you meet current requirements due to covid.

so if the dates are mentioned as may to may mid, and visa arrives after may end , then do we have to update anything to the ircc.

You can but officers will not be bothered about the dates.
