Hi! I'm a Filipino and have been to Canada twice under Tourist Visa (Multiple Entry, stayed only for 2 months at a time). Now I've decided to apply for a job there on my next visit. Assuming that i was able to get an employer and LMO, can i apply for a work permit by crossing the border? I don't have a US visa and have been denied multiple time. Hope you can help me with this. Thanks!

No, as a Philippine citizen you need a medical to stay for more than 6 months in Canada. So as you need a medical, you can't apply at the border.

Thanks for the reply. So the only option for me is to return to my home country and apply for a work permit there? Btw,I am based in Abu dhabi, i don't know if that would make any difference.
