plz somebody help me understand. why is it that im trying to migrate to canada and cic is asking all this money in processing fee and proof of income in the excess of a minimum of $ 8000 on a bank account. My take is, if i had that much money why would i want to migrate to Canada.

I think it's at least 10,000 they want you to have and that is in the case that you come to Canada and don't find a job right away that you have some money to survive on. If you come to Canada with a job already, you don't have to prove funds.

Hi Leon,

I had a job and applied with AEO but still they ask for proof of funds.

I had showed the money in bank but do i need to carry that money with me while going there or

do i need not to take it as i have AEO

You have to have the money available
