Absolutely! I applied for study permit in Nov 2017 for Aug 2018 intake And I got my permit approved in December.
There's no strict timeline regarding your application submission. You apply soon you get offer letter.
Good Luck!

There are mixed reviews. It's completely up to the officer's decision at the Airport. Since you can't start working soon you land, you need to show proof of enough funds to support yourself till you start your class. I wish more members would share their experiences on travelling 3-4 months early than their course start dates.

No time is "too early"... I got my LOA for Sep 18 intake in DEC applied for visa in FEB and got it in FEB itself, also, from what I've heard, They(embassy) are lenient if you apply early on and get choosy once the quota starts to fill up

Need your suggestion, I got the offer letter for September 2019 intake from Seneca. I will be ready with all docs by February ending. So is it really we can apply sooner for September intake for Study Permit? I am confused why my agent told me to apply in May.

If you will have all your documents by February ending, apply as soon as possible..even if it is the next day. Your agent is wrong...the earlier the better your chances
