just to satisfy my anxiety, to all those who already applied and has been approved for BOWP, how many days did they process your application? i know the processing time is posted in CIC page, however, just want to know actual status from this thread.
applied paper based bowp in aug-14 and it was approved after 66-67 days.. but it was for only 4 months due to passport expiry.. so applied online for bowp ext 1st week of dec and was approved after 44-45 days

Hello friends,
I am a CEC applicant, applied for BOWP and SOWP (for my wife). Since both of our current work permit expired, we are on implied status right now. Is it possible for me to switch to a new job and for my wife (who is unemployed now) to start working in a new job? Please advice.

Hey there i think you have to wait implied status holds the same conditions as the previous permit you hold you have to wait for the bowp and sowp before switching or you will be breaking the law
This forum is a great source of information, I'm glad I've found it! I'm currently getting things together to apply for my BOWP online but I have a question about the photo. I have an actual printed photo which meets the size requirements which I used for my CEC PR application, however I don't have a digital copy. Is it ok to scan the photo and upload it as a supporting document? When I scan it, it's a pdf and not a jpeg.
How do I upload additional documents while applying for a BOWP online? My employment history does not fit in the form and I have it on a separate sheet of paper. After uploading the form, I do not see any option to upload additional doc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

jais83, do you have a link to the applications for the BOWP online, because every time I try to apply online it keeps diverting me to the express entry option.
