Unless this has changed in the last 4-5 years, this is incorrect. COPR is sent with the visa - two copies.

The OP asking the question should confirm with the VO if this is correct.

I am in boat of Feb-17 medical. No news from CIC.But waiting till end of Dec.Presently in Canada on visitor visa.

Do worry.. Right now CIC Ottawa are working on files with medical that expires this December and January.. My parents medical will expires this January 13, 2018.. They emailed me at ask for the passport already.

My mother and father in-law's medical will expire this February 2018. so it will be next moth for sure..

That't not true. As per spreadsheet, CIC Ottawa already asked re medical for 4-5 persons whose medical is expiring in January. You are lucky that you got PPR or may be depends on officer that officer is ready to issue visa before medical expires. My medical is expiring in Feb, 2018 and still background check status is not applicable. I hopes that we will not get re medical request. I request GCMS notes two times and nothing is there except every month they are pushing due date to next month. Next due date they mentioned as BF 60 days. I am not sure what that means. What was your status for background check?

I have recently searched about Background check explanation. Actually NA means BC in progress. They are going to change status for BC in progress at last minute for you. What was your status before NA?

It was NA only from starting when i registered for MyCIC in August 2016.

Many of you are getting request for redoing medicals and some of you are getting PPR or DM lately. Congrats to the later group .

I'm not that regular anymore in this forum although I will timely update the SS.

Hello everyone ,

If anyone could give me an idea how/what to read in ATIP notes ?? it is a 70 page document.
My visa office is London and medicals were passed in March 2017 and PCC and RPRF were paid that time.And since then no update and background check has not yet started.
