I just recieve a pre-arrival letter, also the background check is now under process.

Anyone else recieve the same letter??

Does anyone know how long it will take to get the passport request.

I have the same timeline: Medicals done in February, Ottawa visa office.
I did not pay the fees after Medicals, and got the request a month from now (in September) to pay the fees. It means, they did touch my file.
I paid the fees and am waiting now again.

2016 applicant here; I just wanted to share the timeline on sponsorship of my parents.

2016-01-04 Application received by Mississauga Office
2016-02-02 Received an acknowledgment letter
2016-06-13 Sponsor approval
2016-08-18 In Process
2016-10-19 Medical and Police Clearance request
2016-11-02 Police Clearance and RPRF receipt submitted via email
2016-11-05 Medical exam completed

2017-01-04 PPR
2017-01-07 Passport submitted to Manila. My father is from a visa-exempt country so he attached a copy of his passport and my mother submitted her original passport.

2017 Mid-January, my parents received their CoPR; valid until one year after the medical exam was completed (2017-11-05)

2017 early September, my parents together landed at YVR. Smooth landing; pleasant experience at the border.

I hope you all fastest process on the applications!!!

Hi guys, there doesn't seem to be much activity happening lately in terms of application processing for those who have had their PCCs and medicals done earlier this year (Feb/March time frame).

Stuck in the same boat. Medical done in March. It still says : Medicals have been received. No progress since.......

Any idea about the timelilne between medical results and PPR for the NDVO office? Trying to decide whether to apply for the supervisa in the meantime. Heaven knows how long this is going to take?

No it doesn't not always work that way. We also got it request more than 1 month ago, and have had it done but still no response. No idea how much more time they would take. It could be next week, it could be next year too!
