Any update or notification from CIC to whose medicals already expired. Did any one got contacted for getting them re done.

What is the visa expiry date?

oct 30th 2016 - they had the medicals done
between nov 3 & 5 - it got reported to CIC

hence the immigrant visa valid till 3rd Nov 2017

Yesterday, when i logged in to my cic account, i found that the status updated. I was so excited to see the message but when i check the message, there was change in : Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes. My parents did medical in Sept. 2016, so i think its automated change as it passed 1 year time.

Got the same change. Very upset now :-(

Text: File pending officer review. BF 60 days"

does it mean the file is under reviewing now? and should I expect something by 2017/10/07?
My question is how accurate with this timeline? do they often change the deadline?

Now a days, How much time CIC takes to stamp the visa and return the passport? I submitted my passport on 13th September. Any idea when would my status on CIC would change? And when would I get the passport back approximately?

Update from Ottawa VO:
today we have received a RPR fee request. No passport request yet which sounds strange though....
Timeline:
- 2016 applicant
- medical request January 12, 2017
- medicals done February 2, 2017
- RPR fee request Sept 19, 2017

Got an email from CIC to get the medical done again. My parents are here in Canada from last two years on SuperVisa, but still have to do it again. Called the call center and agent said if we have got the email, we have to get the medicals done.
Our application is in Back ground process from Nov 2016.

Hi, thanks for the update. We too got same message - did they send the medical form to you again? we didnt get anything..so wondering how to get that and go about with the medicals?

that's good. paying the RPR is fairly easy.

Very bad news :-(. My parents' medicals expired a couple of weeks ago, so will probably get the same email.
