My parents file was trasfered to Ottawa but the medical, police check request came from London visa office, now I have a question whether the file is in Ottawa or in London.
I applied for my mother PR in Jan 2016 . Last year Dec we received the request for medical and PCC. I replied to that email and attached PCC. Today we recevied a mail from cpc-Ottawa that they are missing PCC and this is final reminder . If we don't provide PCC within 30 days. They will refuse our file. Old PCC is now 8 month old. What we can do now. New PCC will take at least month.

I am still not able to link my parents application to their online account. Has anyone had the same issue? when should you be able to link the account. i received SA approval letter in March 17, no updates since then. Please share your experience so i know what to expect. Thank you.

O ya, you can start filling out. But keep in mind that some of them (not all) may get updated. The updated forms will have few changes here and there. CIC will check the date printed on left-bottom of each form.
i have reached the daily maximum attempts, will give it a try again another day. I have been going to the website and link the account periodically, never worked for me. So does it mean you SHOULD be able to login at this point, is it just me or other people are running into the same issue.
My parents' file is with Ottawa. Waiting for background check to begin. Medical and PCC were completed Jan 2017.
Now, we are planning to have my mother visit us in Canada in August-Oct on a visitor visa, while my father will stay back in India. I am wondering if we get PPR during the time my mother will be in Canada, would we be allowed to send passport for visa stamping to two different locations? ie. mother's passport to CPC-Ottawa and father's passport to LVO-Delhi?
Furthermore, would both of them have to land at the same time or can they land (and become PR) separately.

I tried at least 30 times with all different combinations, and nothing worked. You can try 5 times a day only.
I even created an account for my mom and tried to link her account - all with the same result.
Since the form has many fields, the number of combinations is numerous. Besides, e.g. the name of the city where my parents live can be easily misspelled; also we have 3 kids so total number on the application (with kids - who knows how they count) can be 1 to 7 (heh, go try all variants)..... I keep trying from time to time but am close to giving up. So don't worry, you are not the only one
Same here nothing yet. Our medicals and documents were submitted in February and no update and background check hasnt been started yet.
On MyCIC i see this message that we require an additional document please see your message, but i do not have any message. Do you see same message too on your myCIC? quite a few ppl got that update and there was no message so we are assuming its the system error.
