Rossei, any data/stat on how long it takes from background in progress to PPR?

It's very LVO dependent. It counts in weeks for quicker LVO's.

If you are sponsoring your parents ONLY but you still have siblings (underage) and have listed as dependents on my father's app. Do they have to undergo medical as well or examine their background? Also they don't have passport yet. Thanks

All the dependents (whether accompanying or not) must undergo medicals and PCCs. I called CIC twice to verify that and one fine lady explained me this. Only difference is - there is no upfront fee required for non-accompanying dependents.

I think they either forgot to update the medical or they haven't received it yet, your best bet to is phone in and ask someone nice there

Right after my mom did her IME with the PP (before going to the lab for chest x-ray and others), we were given 2 sheets and told to send any of them back to CIC. One is called e-Medical Info Sheet and the other is named e-Medical Health Case Details.

So, I sent (courier) both sheets along with RPRF receipt, PCC, IMM5669 and notarized death cert. to Singapore-VO. Since my mom had to do additional tests, it took some time for the PP to upload full medical report. But everything was done within 30-day deadline.

Now, sending the medical confirmation page(s) back to CIC may not carry any significance as CIC Medical Team will still wait for the PP to upload/send full medical report. It's just to save yourself if CIC ever blames you for not meeting deadline or something.

Thanks. I have one last question, What if I decided to get my siblings while my parent's applications are being process. What is the first thing to do?

We have the same status on medical, as per Rossie, the background check may change to 'in progress' and while on that status, we may receive a passport request.

Either request of additional documents, or going into background check which is where I'm right now, and after background check is done, they will issue VISA!

they might also ask you to re-fill background declaration form like they did to me.
