This is what i think/suppose:

For 4th January same day delivery, regardless of the origin of the application were delivered through local courier and applications delivered on 31st December(next day 9 am service) regardless of the origin were delivered by purolator

Purolator 9.45 batch here.
Today, I got my app returned to me....
it's unreal but apparently, I missed ONE signature on using representative form.
We signed on Section B stating provided info is true.
Section C was about cancelling representative, so it doesn't apply to us.
Section D was where we didn't sign. this section asking same thing as Section B, provided info to true.
I must've thought this was different section like section C, since we already signed that info to be true in section B.
I've checked and checked so many time, but still managed to miss it.

Sigh... you have no idea how embarrassed i am..
I'm pretty sure my in-laws are so disappointed at me...
I will not be making same mistake next year, and find out how I can use Toronto local carriers from BC....

I just called cic customer service they confirmed that my application was sent back to me on March 1st due to not reaching the 10k cap. Although I haven't received it yet. My application was received on January 5th. I believed they already opened the 10k files since they were able to track my application with the UCI i gaved to them.

May I know what number did you call? Thanks

what hurts more is that I didn't have to send use of representative form
it can be submitted or changed after acceptance...
since representative is optional, couldn't they just say you don't get to use representative since you didn't complete the form, but will processed with application?

I am sorry to know that. Sometimes such mistakes happen and it's hard to notice them during final review of the application before sending it to CIC. Good luck and best wishes for next year.

Hi folks. Just updating everyone that my application reached terribly late on Jan 4th (Reached at 2:00 PM. I sent it on Jan 4th at 11:00 AM through a local courier) and my CC was charged on March 17th. Considering that I'm one of the last people on the spreadsheet for the 4th, Jan 5th should start seeing charges any day now.
