My friend and I both used certified cheque. She went to the bank to check if it was cashed and it takes the bank several working days to process her request. I am going to the bank to check after work today!

I asked my bank and they were like once it is issued, you cannot track it which personally I find it hard to believe. I used TD.

I work in a bank. It's hard to track the drafts. But they can certainly tell you if it's been cashed.

I asked my bank and they were like once it is issued, you cannot track it which personally I find it hard to believe. I used TD.

Just came back from TD, the teller said she's not able to track it but then I showed her TD Help saying otherwise. She then asked the supervisor and said that she'll call the security department and get back to me tomorrow. Same thing happened when my friend went to TD today, they created a case for her and will tell her whether the cheque is cashed or not in several working days.

My docs were received at 11:50am of Jan 4th. Is there a chance I am still in the cap? Also some of my docs were photocopies as Fedex mistakenly delivered my package on Dec 31 so I sent the photocopies again. Is that ok or are they going to reject me?

I think that at 11:50, you will either make it in the first 5K, or 10K. About the photocopies, no idea. better you call CIC and ask them.

I dono certified chqs, but RBC bank draft is traceable.
