Does anyone know when CIC will charge the credit card for the application fee.
Would they do it right away, I mean today or in couple of weeks?

I think it takes few days/weeks for CIC to charge the CC. I don't think they will be charging the CC today.

I see existing entries are being removed easily by others.
Mine and some others were removed.

Last year, if I remember correctly, the first charge was around five days.

That's because Rossi is moving them to the timeline sheet. I see both of your applications there. They'll be moved there one folks post delivery confirmation.

I think, your entries were moved by moderator to the timeline sheet.

I used Metro Mississauga Courier this time and I have had great experiences with them. I spoke to the owner Chris half an hour ago and he told me that they were the second in line. There were some other local courier companies as well, such as VW. Chris and some other local couriers started waiting there since last night. I was told that our packages were delivered by 8:45am today. I really appreciate Chris and his workers for taking the extra mile to try to maximize our chances of getting our packages in.

Still not 100% that my package got in though due to many factors. I am not sure how CIC count in order to achieve the 5000. Anyways, let's keep our fingers crossed now.

I paid by certified cheque. Does anyone know when and how will we receive confirmation from the bank that my certified cheque is cleared?

It's unfortunate for you guys that CIC decided to stick with 5,000 cap. Anyway, today is the big day and I wanted to wish you all good luck.

Re: filling out the Google SS, could you be more attentive? For example, I only asked for APPLICATION RECEIVED DATE & TIME (by CPC-M) which you would only know today. In other words, fill out Column E, F & G of New Entry sheet once you know them. Thanks.

they will not start today, but in several days\week.
