If you can ask your guys...will be much appreciated..will be helpful for all guys who chose ups...
Below is what my courier guy said: so it unlikely they got them delivered before 8am...maybe the time was when they left the UPS office? not sure
"No one would have got in before us. We would have killed him. Literally I think after 24 hours any one would get past us. I saw UPS getting into the elevator when I was leaving at 9 am. Plus no applications are accepted prior to 8 anthem would get rejected by rules automatically "
Guys, what is the weird status at 8:58 AM?

well.. the difference is not in processing time. certified cheque settlement will likely be faster. Its just that they dont inform applicants when they charge the fees. If you use CC you will see it right away in the statement. with certified cheques, the money is taken out from the account when we sign the cheque.. so we wont know when they processed it.
ok thanks

Even my status just says in transit and no update. wth man when they say next day delivery then why didn't they send it?? I think even my application is also in Edmonton and never been sent
I think the entire Alberta Purolator is delayed.
I noticed last year that CIC receives application in the morning.. That is why their was few applications received the next the is still within the CAP.. Hope this is till the case this year.. Hope that application will be received tomorrow morning and still have chance..

Nope 1000 each.. read my earlier posts
My courier guy was was 2nd in line told me the total for the first 3 was approx. 1000...the first 3 guys exchanges words as to how many applications they each had...he didn't think Happy express would like...he told me that each application is heavy and big so they may look like a lot more than they actually are...

Mine is not showing that. Most likely it's a tracking mistake, it says it's delivered so you should be okay. Hopefully 9:43AM was in time for the cap.
I just spoke to my Courier guy (VW Express) and he said that the first 3 guys before him had max 1000-1500 applications between them. He also said that CPC does not time stamp each waybill as it is way too time consuming but they do time stamp the applications they receive. The courier guy asks them what time stamp they are putting on the applications (1 time stamp for 1 lot of applications) and that's how they give us the time of delivery.
So let's guess:
Happy Road Express: 1000
VW: 1000
Local3: 1000
Puralator: 700
Fedex: ?
UPS?: ?
CanadaP: ?
DHL/Loomis: ?
Others: ?
Did anyone see UPS guy in the lineup?
Guys, spent the last week of my life on the application and reviewing it over and over and over again. And today was the fateful day. I used happyroad and the online tracking shows delivered at 8:21 AM, however, no name of the recipient.
I am pretty sure I will spend the rest of January checking the online statement every day to see if a charge was made.

Local1: 1000
Local2: 1000

Fedex: ???
UPS?: ???
CanadaP: ???
DHL/Loomis: ???
nope.. the first three are 1000-1500 combined based on the calls.
i would give 1000 to each big courier and another 2000 to all other smaller couriers combined.

I think the order was more like this:
| 8:21 | Happy Road Express | 1000 |
| 8:21? | The Messengers Express | 250 |
| 8:21? | VW Express | 250 |
| 8:30 | BNS | 50? |
| 8:31 | UPS | 1000? |
| 8:40 | ?? | 50? |
| 8:45 | Metro Mississauga | 50? |
| 8:45 | GTA Express | 50? |
| 9:00 | Messengers Int'l | 50? |
| 9:19 | FedEx | 1000? |
| 9:20 | Current Express | 50? |
| 9:43 | Purolator | 1000? |

Very unfortunate. Hopefully government does the right thing and increases the cap.
