Got an email about 2 months ago that I am approved as a sponsor and that parent's file has been forwarded to LVO. E-cas status says Application Received. Nothing yet...

By LVO I meant Local Visa Office. Mine is Ottawa.

Hello, I am an 2017 applicant, and wondering how you guys filled Q15 on the financial evaluation, especially for the gross income column? I have income from my employer, interests and other income. Should I directly use Line 150 number or just income from my employer?

one questions, did you get request to submit Schedule A form, how long of a history you enter for your parent, did you enter since age of 18 as seems like Visa officer is asking that it should be entered since age of 18.

please advise.

Schedule A form we have already filed at the time of application, but they asked again with bold/underline the information should be from age of 18, so I filled the form again mentioning the information from age 18, also filed travel history form.

Do you think due to canada post strike during past couple weeks our communication may have back logged or misplaced? Anyone tried calling CIC from Jan 5th batch to follow up on status?

For Quebec sponsors: I was informed by MIDI that i got approved as a sponsor and a CSQ is on the way to me now, my application was june 29 and file was opened july 7 and decision taken on August 9 so technically its around 4 weeks from the time they open your file/charge your cc apparently.

Before local visa office transfer they asked me to give death certificate of my father, and I uploaded the same. No originals

The sponsorship status on my parents' application has "Application Received" and their PR Status has "In-process" (we started processing your application on Aug 8, 2016)

Is that the way it is normally? or will the sponsorship status also change?

LVO is Ottawa....we sent their application in 2016...it appears that Ottawa is moving fast with 2016 applications....

Thanks for the update and congrats for the CSQ! My cc was charged on july 22, so still have to waiting. Where is your LVO?

My mum's Ecas now says "medical results have been received". In MyCIC, next to medical exam it is says "passed".
