Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Hi every one
i got my SA via letter mail few days before, today this morning i received another letter mail and this letter is stating the "COPY" but there is difference in these two. First letters says file transferred to NDVO but the copy says file transferred of Ottawa. Now i am confused where to con tact about this either NDVO OR Ottawa . Can there is any other person who got like this earlier. No medical,PCC
,RPRF received till this date Both the letter are dated 22th June 2016.

The information is given on CIC website which I shared in past.

Anyway from what I understand, you have to call 3rd party agencies (accredited by RCMP) who can collect fingerprints from around the world and submit to RCMP.

Hi Tina, Tucasword,

I am in same state as yours. I have received the PCC, RPRF, Travel doc and Schedule A request from Delhi but no date or address mentioned on it. In addition, although the NDVO has asked some applicant to send photos they haven't mentioned in my letter.

Have they asked you the photos? Am wondering if it is better to send to be on a safer side.
As they haven't sent the office address, are we supposed to send it to the normal NDVO office address that is listed for other applicants?

I've decided to re-do the medicals even though the supervise medical is 5 weeks old.

as for address to send it to, I'm going to send it to Mississauga with a copy of the letter from new delhi and hope for the best.

So I got GCMS notes. Apparently, we were supposed to send the death certificate of the parent if deceased.

It is marked in the GCMS that proof was not provided and VO can ask for proof if required.

Did your file move to Ottawa? i do not see you on the spreadsheet.
I got this message long before SA. April 9 to be exact.

I do not think this means LVO received it. It likely is an automated message when the application is in the system. Although I do not know if everyone is receiving it.

also this letter was sent to the applicant not to me as a sponsor eh ? mine as a sponsor i got it around early feb !

So I read in 2015 PGP thread that you can link the application to your my CIC account which is what I did.

Has anyone else tried it?

Hi all,
My sponsorship was approved and my parents went through their medicals in Scarborough. Today I received a letter from CIC saying that my dad needs to go for further examination. In the initial examination they had said that there was blood in urine using a strip test- but the repeat test was negative a few days later. We are anxious now as to what this could mean and why the repeat test? Any similar experience here?

Just take this letter and do another test. Or they ask to wait fot 6 months?
In one of my freind father case they xray show something. Then they have to wait for 6 months before going for second x ray. Eventually his father clear the medicals

No. It took about 60-70 days.

Let's see which comes first, SA or GCMS.

My dad received email last week from CIC. Does this mean the file is already transferred to LVO? What are the next steps after this? Thank you in advanced for all your help.

I received my SA dated June 23 and was advised that it was being sent to Singapore. But I/my parents did not receive a confirmation email like you did. Can you please share the email address?

My application was received in morning batch on Jan 4, 2016 and I got confirmation of receipt on Feb 2.
In April I changed my job and notified CIC, they send reply saying docs will be attached to my application.
Since then - silence, but people in the same batch were getting sponsorship approval in June...

I was wondering if anyone with changes in their application also experiences a delay?
