I believe order of application also matter, i have sent two application same time 1008, one got charge on Jan 14, This one charged just now, I have sent both apps at same time, i think the order they deliver effect processing.

Congratulations. You must worry a lot these days.

BTW, is there anybody getting the packages returned recently?

My moms application submitted with fedex @11.50 am on Jan 04 is charged today
Cic charge of 550 showed up on my credit card today

That is perm resident, not sponsorship. But still fantastic news for people who are already in!!

This is very good news.
However:
- The numbers will apply to people who are currently in line (waiting for years)
- The "Processing Times" page for PGP has not been changed for months and still shows "we are currently processing November 4, 2011".
So my assumption is they have way more waiting files than 20,000. But good news is that if this number is processed this year, we will move in line too

Yes.. will be interesting to know how many people are in inventory for now? Will help us determine the processing times our applications are going to take. CIC shows the following for now in terms of PGP applications:

Working on applications received on or before November 4, 2011 ..

What does that mean - they have started the evaluation of sponsorship for these applicants?

Also when did they stop receiving applications and then start again?
