hello vikas i have applied on 23 dec. there is only one update i can see in my Gckey account. on eligibity: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
let me know your eligibility update. for your information we dont need biometrics if we have submitted or application online before 31st dec.

Its showing me "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.". Lets see how much time it will take.

In my case, reviewing eligibility was started in morning and I got visa approval in evening..So it takes only a day....Hopefully, you will get it by today or maximum tomorrow................All the best.

No it didn't happen with me....In my case, eligibility was started in morning and in evening i got Passport request letter....Hope you application will be approved....

Also not anticipating updates for next few weeks. CIC take their time for processing. Very few people will get their visa processed with in week because of multiple reasons i.e. already had US visa etc. So need to wait.
