Hi All!
I have a question about the timeline of receiving electronic citizenship certificate (E-certificate) after attending the ceremony. I have scheduled the ceremony in about a week but I have a pre-scheduled travel in November. I am wondering if anyone knows the estimated timeline of getting e-certificate? Will I receive the e-certificate on the same day? If I can get the E-certificate in a day or two I may have enough time for urgent passport application, visa application, etc.
Thank you!
It usually takes 2 to 5 business days after the ceremony to get it.
The answer is in the oath invitation email you received.

Read the oath invitation email you received. It's in plain English and it answers your question.
Haven't received the letter. Just found out the status has changed and have to plan ahead.

Oh kk alright then. Like the other poster said, 2 to 5 business days.

Talk to the oath officer on the oath day. Some are kind enough and do process the oath form and generate the e-certificate on the same day.
I spoke to the oath officer on the day of the oath as well. She said it might still take 2 to 5 days. I am on the 4th business day. Still there is nothing. Getting impatient and worried now..

Did you call IRCC to check they have your signed oath form?
I tried but they said all of their agents were busy at the moment.
