timeline for chc-london after appeal allowed

Our application is through the London UK office.. unfortunately the whole process has been VERY slow. First applied in June 2008 and was refused September 2009 -they did not believe the relationship genuine.
My partner finally had an interview (for the appeal) with immigration in Toronto in June this year but it took 3 months before we had any update/ request for information after that.
Immigration in London only ever used the B file number in all email/ postal correspondence.
Thank god we are nearing the end of this long process!

what was the the type of information / update ( 3months ) fater u won ur appeal ?

Well it was more of a request- for the medical/police checks & RPRF. Have you been asked to send these ?
Might be and idea to contact your local MP office and ask them to get in contact ?? We did that last year and they got an
update from London within the week.

Our appeal was allowed on sept 5th , and got in paper on sept 20th. we haven't hear anything from mexico city since the appeal was allowed. Im just afraid the new police reports expire , I want to know whats going on or when to expect an update on our case.

when u went to your MP , what type of request you did with them ? what was ur request to the MP , for them to ask the embassy ?

We spoke to a member of staff at our local office and she took our details , file number etc.
She then contacted the London CHC on our behalf and basically pestered them for information, we just
wanted a status and to find out whether the sponsor app had been approved or not... after about a week
they finally got back and gave her the info (our application had been denied) The next week we received a
letter to confirm this and details of how to proceed with the appeal.

Yes I sent it to London on Friday.. hopefully will get there with no problem

Lyzzylou , did immigration asked you to send updated police reports after u won the appeal ? or they used the once u originally sent ?

We won appeal on sept 20th 2010 , wating for mexico city . we got this on our email today

Updated Imm 0008 form and an updated Schedule 1 .We have 10 days to send the requested information.

My passport arrived there on 17th Dec so with it being the holiday season, im guessing may not hear anything until after the New year.. keeping fingers and toes crossed

WE finally received an email from Mexico Embassy requesting updated Schedule 1 form and a 008 form i think. They also advice me that our file number has changed from a Bxxxxxxx to an F0000XXXX. they only gave me me 10 days to send info request.


I wonder if they will ask for updated police checks , if so why they didn't ask for it on the same email ???? , My medicals are good until Feb 13th 2011.

Yes , we won our appeal on sept 5th 2010, File was received in Mexico City on NOv 17th 2010, New updated forms requested from Mexico City on Dec 18th , Updated forms were delivered by FedEx on Dec 21st 2010.

Now just waiting , also my file changed from a B file to and F xxxxx file. I havent been able to check status on Ecas.
