I've read somewhere (maybe on this forum) that the time spent outside Canada to find and buy a property in another country is counted towards the citizenship residency requirement. Or is it only for permanent residency?
Can someone here confirm or point me to some official documentation?

I can confirm that this is NOT true for either citizenship OR permanent residency.
I have no idea where you saw this but it wasn't from anyone who has studied the regulations.

But it's not about buying a property, it's about selling it
