My personal opinion on all this stuff about delay on PR application is that the speed of your application depend on how quick your security/background check passed and degree of check depends on your country of origin, how many countries you have lived in and if your country of origin or the countries you have lived in are those so called security risk countries as it relate to T.....RISM and the level of contradictions in your application in relation to what the RCMP, CBSA and IRB had in their files about you which of course IRCC agent processing your PR must request from all this agency to analyze to make a decision. If the agent cannot make a decision they refer your PR application to superior officers for critical review and applications get stop there for months and even years. God help us because we have families outside Canada waiting forever to reunite.
I haven’t seen anyone received PR card in a while. It looks like issuing cards is extremely slow even though it’s a very easy thing to produce and it doesn’t go through any decision making channels. Please update us with your timeline if you received your PR card.

I think related to 2 factors;
1/ CoPR valid for one year and the card is required after CoPR expired , so no need to be rushed
2/ To decrease the chance of traveling due to current critical health situation
Application Submitted; July 28, 2019
Eligibility was December 18, 2020
DM was January 10
COPR is today January 28
Although the COPR number, issue date and expiry date was in my IRCC online account portal when I logged into my account but the COPR letter was not sent and I believe it will drop in my email tomorrow or whenever.

I have applied at the same date as my friend and both us age , situation everything same . They asked me To provide FBI report as well as new medical and I received just AIP on 12 dec. But my friend just provided RCMP and direct COPR and landed !!
So basically they just updated everyone's bar to reflect the updated 24 months processing time if you would go on cic to check processing times... I guess now we know why everyone's bar was missing, even mine although my application is done.. it was just a system update. I really think most will still get COPR/DM soon.
I am July 2019 applicant.
Today when I checked my status, it is written that they received my Medical which I have not done it after the first time I applied.
Do you have any idea what does it mean and what is coming after that?
according to IRA and timeline I was supposed to receive my PR on April 8 but today I checked the website and I noticed that the timeline has been postponed. apparently, I will receive my or in Aug, which is a disaster caz i have to go abroad(not my bach home country)so the question is, is the timeline accurate? or did anyone have a similar experience and received the pr before that timeline?
