I believe it doesn’t matter where did you apply from because all applications are processed in Mississauga office so the different take place when it comes to the background check some applicant will have it very quick and some will need to wait more time

I got a letter on Monday saying I passed eligibility. I thought that was the AIP. The letter today said processing is complete. I don’t know which one is AIP. In any case, do we know how long Etobicoke takes to give decision? And do they call or just email. Please share your experience.

Exactly depends on the city you live. Processing is doing in different offices. Vancouver office is slowest office.

transferring your file to the city you live in is the last stage and at that time your file is been completed

They extended my biometric dates just now before it was August 2026 n now it is January 2027 also my biometric number changed I’m April 3, 2019 applicant n timeline bar is 99% ! Anybody can help why it is like this answer will b appreciate thanks in advance

Applied on March 29th 2019, the only recent change was medical passed on Nov. 3rd.
Since then, now news.

We are kind of on the same boat! Both from Afghanistan and I am April 1 2019 so please stay in touch and update us when you have any update

True true... about a couple weeks ago who ever had a medical update used to get copr right after that in couple days but that is not the case anymore?!?

Yes nothing is certain! I passed medical 25th Aug 2020 but after that nothing timeline 90% May 29th 2019 Applicant

Probably these guys its background check were completed before the pandemic because my medical has been updated for the second time in January 2020 and I’m April 2019 applicant

For me I had to do fresh medical in August 2020 and passed
