Please help ! I got eligiblity and pre arrival last month and today I got a request letter . From what I understood from the letter , I had to email the address they provided and write them some of my information that they send me back portal login . I donno if I did it correct and what is it ?

Which information did they request from you? I think they are want you to validate your address, email and bio data. I think they use that information to prepare your eCOPR.

Your application looks like it’s in early stages you haven’t passed anything yet other than the medical. If you’re 2022-2023 applicant the estimated time to get your approval is around 17-24 months.

Okay that’s weird it should be in the final stage by now :/ Almost 19 months here and everything is passed still haven’t got anything though.

I checked online how I can apply for PR and what I got is to prepare the forms and to mail them to the IRCC as per this link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ected-persons-convention-refugees.html#5205E6

The question is: is there any way for convention refugee to apply for PR ONLINE. I mean without mailing the application?? As I know the online application is faster than paper application.

I am posting this question here as I know all the participants in this threads are having PR applications in process so they might help.

Any advise would be really appreciated

My online PR application shows the below:

- You do not need a medical exam
- We do not need your fingerprints
- Background check not applicable

My question is will my application be finalized without me having to do medical & biometrics? Or will I be asked to do them at a later date?

Background check shows not applicable even though I have provided the police certificate they requested.

Also I have noticed something weird I hope someone could help.

When I go to my online account, I can see my application that I linked. However, when I take the application number (Gxxxx) and try to check the status in the online tool (without logging into my account) I see no result for my application. I have tried using different search critirias but it always leads to results.

Does anyone else face the same issue?

Does anyone know how long it takes for the IRCC account to update after a decision is made on ECAS?

I am an inland applicant under the protected person class.

Hi members,
I am applying for PR online application as protected person inside Canada and spouse and kid outside Canada. I did the following so far:

- I filled up all the required forms for me and for my spouse (as the forms are required for the principal applicant + any depended older than 18 years)

- I included my wife and daughter in the dependent section.

- I attached in the supporting docs the below documents:
Marriage Certificate - Birth Certificate for my daughter - Passports details for my spouse and daughter - proof of education for my self and my spouse - proof of status which in my NOD.

- I attached photos for myself and my wife and daughter.

- I Will pay the application fees before submitting.

The question is: Is what I am doing right? Did I miss any document which I should attach? I am checking with you folks before I submit the application so I do not want my application to be rejected because of missing any documents or information.

Any feedback means a lot for me and others and would be highly appreciated.
