Guys I am kind of confused. I got an generic email and it asks me provide police certification. But someone said I don’t need to provide it.
I live in my country of persecution and Canada last 3 years. Do I need to provide police certification?

the principal applicant and each dependent who are 18 years of age and older, a scanned copy of the Police Certificate(s), clearances, or records of non-conviction must be provided.
You must submit the records for the following scenarios:
 Country of residence before coming to Canada, if the applicant has resided there for 6
months or more
 Country where the applicant has spent most of their adult life since the age of 18

Note: You are not required to provide a police certificate from the country of persecution listed on your refugee claim. “

You are only suppose to submit police certificate if you have lived in any other country for more than 6 months

You don’t need to provide persecution country or canada police certificate

This request is clear enough. Apart from your country of persecution and Canada, have you stayed for up to 6 months in any other country? If you have, you should submit a police clearance certificate from that country.

It normally would show you SUCCESSFUL on the screen. Once this is displayed, you have nothing to worry about.
